1991–1992 – Gagarin Party and the First Moscow Raves

«Then, somehow unexpectedly for everyone, a rave wave swept over Moscow. I first ended up at the «Gagarin Party» and practically lost my mind. I'd never seen anything like it, not even in London. There I performed in small clubs, at a time when that wave of raves had practically petered out. I never thought it was possible in Moscow!
Many tried to repeat the success of «Gagarin», and a whole string of raves began in the city. Next came Mobile in Krylatskoye, but as far as I remember, it didn't cause much of a stir. It seems that event didn't pay off; few people came and the organisers, as they say, took a hit».
