1995 - the Hellraiser rave (Holland)

«Fame, by the way, used to catch up with me in rather strange ways. Once I went to Holland just to relax. And one of my buddies over there turned out to be in the scene and invited me to play at the Hellraiser rave, something like fifty thousand people. He got me onto the bill, but when I stepped up to the decks and saw that crowd, my hands started shaking. I played the set, but afterwards I didn't tell anyone about it back in Russia. It felt somehow awkward - everyone would have thought I was bragging. It all came out unexpectedly: Zhmakin went to Holland and brought back a flyer with 'Digger (USSR)' printed on it. It turned out funny: Fonar comes up to me, shows me the flyer and asks: «Who's this?». «Me», I answer him shyly. «Then why did you keep quiet?». «I was embarrassed». And that was the pure truth».
