1996 - Stantsiya

DJ Digger:
«Incognito called me and invited me to the radio, asked me to come over. Groove was appointed programme director then; he and I quickly found a common language, and I launched my own programme Thriller on «Stantsiya». That name, by the way, was thought up by Groove.
At first an incredible free-for-all reigned at «Stantsiya», everything was arranged in a very youthful way. The DJs worked on pure enthusiasm. Everyone played what they wanted, the speech of the hosts was completely incoherent, since no one had specially taught this. Only Finist spoke competently, he already had broadcasting experience, he had previously worked at «M-radio». But he too soon let himself go: he began to shock the public with harsh obscenities, told the biographies of some porn actors on air...
There was no control over the broadcast and, therefore, completely fantastic stories happened. I, for example, come to «Stantsiya» early in the morning, and find such a scene there: the sound engineer is asleep at the mixing desk; in the on-air studio the record has played to the end and only crackling is heard. And next to the turntables the drunk Nikk is asleep. And such cases were not rare there.
Then everything somehow settled down, the broadcasts began to be controlled and they even paid us a salary. But I didn't last long at «Stantsiya». Or-bit appeared at the radio, who began to pose real competition to me. He had a steely business grip, and he shoved me off the stage. And I wasn't especially eager anyway. In short, I left. This was in 1998, right before the crisis».
