1998 – The Buchenwald Club

«Around that time I got in touch with a group of people who had previously run the club Galaktika and had created Plazma. They gave me a basement, where together with my 'kids' I built a small club and studio: we came up with the décor, built the bar, and installed the sound system with our own money. The place was completely underground: for half a year it worked for insiders only and was called Buchenwald.
Admission cost 15 rubles. On the radio I'd make announcements like: 'Tonight you know yourselves where the party will be. You know the meeting spot.' Everyone would gather by the Profsoyuznaya metro station and head to Buchenwald in a big crowd. The club would lock down for the night so that nobody would wander around the courtyard and 'blow the cover' on the place, and it only opened to let people out at six in the morning».
