Dance Planet. Impressions

Not long ago the electronic music festival Dance Planet took place in St. Petersburg. For the tenth time now, a many-thousand-strong rave was held at the "Yubileyny" sports complex, and we decided to ask the people on the dancefloor for their opinion of it. The anniversary edition of the festival was titled "Dance Planet. Tendance - International Best Dance Fest" and gathered in one place such stars as Marco V, Till West & Dj Delicious, Hi-Tacck, Tocadisco, Cosmic Gate and many others.

44100Hz attended the festival and asked the guests about their impressions:
1. Describe your state in one word.
2. What usually attracts you to events like this?

4. Which of the DJs playing today are the first to come to mind?

1. Happiness.

1. Good, though I'm expecting more. But given that there's no trance in our city, this is an alternative.
2. A multitude of people who feel the same way I do. A shared energy.
3. Ten Dance, as a tandem, a coming-together...
4. The ones who play trance, I'm waiting for them. On the Russian side that's Zhukov, and on the European side it's Benjamin Bates.

2. First of all, relaxing with friends; I also love taking photos - for myself, for friends and for websites.

4. I don't even know, I like everyone, depending on whose set I end up at, but I like all the music.

2. The first thing is the sheer scale! Events like this happen once a year, a decent number of the public and music specialists gather.
3. First and foremost the association with the word "tendency". I believe that Dance Planet, as a festival – one of the progenitors of events like this in Russia, held for the tenth year running – set a certain tendency and now many people take their cue from this festival! I want to wish the organisers to keep it up in the same spirit and for these tendencies to go only on an upward line!
