The best is the enemy of the good. This warning from Voltaire could not fit better the November Kompakt Night at Gaudi. There were so many excellent artists that there was simply no way to take them all in properly. The performance of one of the pillars of the Cologne sound, Reinhard Voigt, at "Gorod" put this right. Voigt belongs to the "heavy", dancefloor wing of Kompakt, and the ears and legs of those who came to this party were more than convinced of it.

The creators of the hit I Like The Way, Dylan Barnes and Kaz James, were finally brought to Moscow. But as it turned out, few people here needed them — the turnout was small. What's more, many were unhappy that the Bodyrockers sang almost to a backing track, without keyboards, but with a guitarist and a DJ. In our view, though, such complaints are hardly warranted — the Bodyrockers format implies "miming".

One of the premises of the Krasny Oktyabr (Red October) factory was used for a party for the first time.
Because of this, techno lovers had to pay for their feelings, ending up in a dirty and dusty space. For this they were amply rewarded with superb music and a disc with a new compilation from DJ Chizh.
