Since I was born in the year of the Rooster, in 2005 (the year of the Rooster) I was given a wild number of all sorts of roosters.

You won't believe it. I woke up on the first at home.

In the year of the Rooster I was wished that this very rooster wouldn't peck me to death.

Our prices are average for Moscow, around $200 will be enough. Entry will cost $150, plus $50 for alcoholic drinks.

I don't know what dress preferences there are for the year of the Dog, but a person going to a club for the New Year knows in advance how they'll be dressed.

Our guests are like one family, and the New Year is precisely a family holiday, which is exactly why it should be celebrated at our place.
How much money do you need to see in 2006 in style at your party?
Since our club isn't cheap, you need to have a certain amount of money in your pocket to feel confident. And booking a table will cost from $3000 to $7000.
How do you recommend dressing for your party?
There's no strict dress code. It can be classic style or a masquerade costume. But it would be more patriotic to wear club First's clothing, since we produce our own clothing brand.
And what about Father Frost and the Snow Maiden?
The lead role goes to Pasha "Snezhok Volya" (Comedy Club), Andreas will be Father Frost, and Maryana (art director of First) the Snow Maiden.
What sets the New Year apart from other holidays?
I think it's in the concentration of toasts and wishes that we set for ourselves and others. It's a holiday of hopes.
What's the most unusual gift you've been given?
It's the one I used to find in my parents' wardrobe as a child (a chocolate hare).

I think that place is still to come. Otherwise, it's best to wake up in the right place, not an unusual one.

The New Year at club Fabrique will plunge everyone into the fairy tale of "2006 Dalmatians", trying to bring everyone as close as possible to the canine world - a world of goodness and magic, fairy-tale characters and wondrous heroes. How will the New Year be celebrated at Fabrique?
We'll specially flood an ice rink; we'll have skate hire already included in the ticket price. Also the singer Slava will perform for us before the New Year, and afterwards the Spanish DJ Monique 69 will take to the decks and fill the air with the spirit of Ibiza.
How much money do you need to see in the New Year in style at your party?
Since prices at our club aren't high, entry tickets will be inexpensive and only cover admission. All drinks and food can be bought in the club at fairly democratic prices.
How do you recommend dressing for your party?
Comfortably. And if you come in a Dalmatian costume, entry is free!
What about Father Frost and the Snow Maiden?
That's old as the hills. They won't be there.

There used to be a special euphoria and the smell of tangerines. Now it's a special anticipation of the morning - as the end point of a month-long grind.

A Snow Maiden costume.

Shamara. On the first morning of 1996 I woke up from the cold on the beach of Shamara Bay. That's near Vladivostok.
