LESS 2 - The New World

The persistent ringing of the phone forced me to get up. "Quick, put on Muz-TV!" Lena shouted into the receiver. A new project, "Elements", was on TV, featuring DJ Incognito and Vlad Kopp. This time, however, instead of the usual psychedelic videos, the screens behind the DJ booth showed people in bright clothes moving in time to the music playing. I recognised them, I recognised myself, for I had been there just a day earlier.
On 28 July, near Podolsk, on the grounds of the "Yunost" pioneer camp, the second open-air party from the club "Proton" took place, under the resounding name "LESS 2 - The New World". Undoubtedly it was a major event for the Moscow trance scene, since both Russian and foreign trance artists took part in this event. Organised by Good Food Promotion, Atomic records, Boshke Beats, Sun Trance, Tsunami and Reactor Sound System, the open-air promised to be one of the best projects of this summer. And it lived up to all expectations: a well-chosen venue, 2 dancefloors, quality sound, positive-minded security, excellent organisation, mind-blowing designs - all the necessary factors were brought together and there simply could not be anyone dissatisfied.
DJs Lenin, Sava, Kt-15, Demos, N.Urman, Trancedriver, and the foreign guests Steve Ronan and Fuzzion, all played brilliantly. DJ Incognito deserved special mention, his set simply blew up the dancefloor. It seems to me that the only people who could have left this event early were those who ended up there completely by accident and had no notion of quality trance.
As dawn broke, the drive of everyone present not only failed to fade but flared up even stronger. Morning trance - you have to hear it. Nature awakens and the music becomes more joyful and playful. Whatever you do, do not sleep! The fun continues. Fuzzion is at the decks, and it is impossible to stop.
And then the fateful hour arrived, 9 in the morning, the end of the mad revelry. Tired and calm, people move slowly towards the highway. They are exhausted, they want to sleep, and the road home is not a short one. But after everything they got to witness that night, the road ahead holds no fear. They know their business, they dance for peace. Peace, Love, Unity, Respect - that is the slogan of trancers all over the world. And a few small inconveniences - that is not really so important.
