«Soon, independently of Gorobiy, we came to «Titanic» with the idea of Mondays. The first party goes by, the second, the third... And then they shut us down. Because we'd started making incredible money. We paid the club rent, seven thousand dollars, and our take at the door for the first party was 15 thousand, then twenty, and then twenty-five. That's just the door - the bar revenue went to the club. The way I understand it, Lyosha got a bit jealous, and the Mondays were smoothly taken away from us. After that it was Gorobiy who handled this whole thing. Even so, he and I went on having a wonderful relationship.
By the way, at that point I was the number one star in Moscow. All I had to do was step out onto the road and raise my hand, and any driver would ask: «Volodya, where can I give you a lift?».
