"I still remember the astonishing "Crisis party" in the premises of the then still-unfinished "Zeppelin". Its backstory goes like this. Frightened by the sudden default, foreign companies were rapidly winding down their activities in Russia. Having lost their jobs, several thousand expats were hastily leaving Moscow. As a farewell, they decided to throw a party. A real party. One to set the sky ablaze. Half of Moscow was invited. Free drink flowed like a river. People danced until one in the afternoon and afterwards simply would not disperse. Evidently, they understood that this was the last chance to have a good time like in the good old days".
