Petersburg - England - Moscow

I entered the scene in Petersburg in 1992. The squats, the first parties, the club Tonnel and so on. And in 1993, after a lengthy stay in London, I was one of the first to take up importing British DJs. The first import was made in 1994 to the club Piramida, just built by Andrei Haas. Then there were the Planetarium and Tonnel - there were no other clubs in Petersburg at that time.
1997, February. I organised the first import into the country of Ministry of Sound. The party had a large budget by the standards of the time and took place in the building of the Petersburg Manege. The headliners then were Justin Berkman (founder of the Ministry of Sound brand) and Marc Auerbach. The party went off with a flourish, but since, owing to youthful maximalism, I rented almost all the sound and light in the city, set up the decorations and so on, I landed myself with a fair amount of expense. On the other hand, the English were delighted, and subsequently I gained a good reputation in London - it all paid off... and more than once.
Visiting England regularly, I tried to seek out DJs of interest to the Russian public; so it was that names such as Luke Brancaccio, Desyn Masiello, Paolo Mojo and many, many others first appeared in Moscow and Petersburg through me.
2003. At the invitation of Zhora Petrushin I moved to Moscow under the warm wing of Zeppelin Production, where I remain for now.
