44100hz and the radio program Electroshock continue their stories about the heroes of electronic music. This time the host and DJ Ruslan Sever managed to speak by phone with the well-known musician and DJ Sebastien Leger! 44100hz presents the print version of the interview with the musician:

Hi, Sebastien! Where are you right now?
Hi! I'm in Amsterdam right now.
Do you live there?
Yes, I live in Amsterdam now, but I'm actually French and was born in France.

Ah, is Sebastien Leger your real name?
Yes, that's my real name.
Do you have any other aliases you perform under? Or side projects?
No, I've never worked under a pseudonym. I only use my real name.
Tell us, what are you working on right now?
I've finished work on a few remixes. But now I'm trying to devote less time to them. Honestly, we're planning to release a few more tracks on my new label, and that's it for now.
You collaborated with Chris Lake, how did it all begin and how is it developing now?
It all started with the album Mistakes EP, which we put out last year. And now we're trying to make a follow-up to it. Even though Chris has a very tight schedule and I'm constantly busy too, we're still trying to find time for a joint project.

I know you have a very tight schedule and most likely there's a favourite place where you most enjoy playing. Is it a club or a city? And which of your recent performances stuck with you the most?
I love playing in Japan. It's an amazing place. I don't know a single DJ who doesn't enjoy playing there. I'm also fond of Ireland, I don't know why, but whenever I play there the dance floor has a wonderful atmosphere, nice people dancing, and I really like that. I remember one party from last year, but there were so many of them that the name is very hard to recall. Last month I played at a festival in Australia and that was probably one of my best performances.
Tell us about your plans for this year, what interesting things are coming up?
A large number of performances are coming up. I plan to continue working on my album. I'm also working on a project with Gia Mellish, a vocalist I'm currently collaborating with. And I'm working on an album for a very well-known artist whom I can't talk about yet.

Share your musical tastes, what music do you prefer and which artists would you recommend listening to?
There's a good guy, the Dutchman Rene Amesz... I think he makes great music. I also like Claude van Hock, Make Monday, Eric Prydz, Chris Lake, and besides, they're all my friends.
On one of our programs we had Elite Force as a guest. When asked about his hobby, he answered very simply: "I tend my farm, I grow vegetables and raise sheep". Do you have a hobby?
No, I don't have any hobbies at all...
So music is your only pursuit?
I work a lot, I don't have time left for anything. Although in winter I can find a couple of free days and go snowboarding. But there are no other pursuits, music itself is my hobby!
Interesting. And are you planning to come to Moscow?
Not at the moment.
And you have no desire to?
I do! If I were invited, I would definitely come!
I hope it happens very soon. Leave us with a wish for the end.
I'll definitely make a wish when I come to Russia. Wait for me!

The Electroshock program airs on Maximum radio every Sunday from 21:00 to 23:00 (Moscow time). Details on the official Electroshock website.
