Access Denied is one of the best tech-breaks/Minimal/Electro projects in Belarus and the former Soviet Union, consisting of producers Andrey Mute and Pasha Joint. Founded in Brest, Belarus in 2003, they released their first unofficial album Gradation-Degradation in 2005 and gained international recognition when their remix for AQUASKY's "Crosswire" placed in the top eight of a global competition with over 200 participants. By 2006, their sound evolved to encompass Electro House, Techno-Minimal, Tech Breaks, and Progressive Breaks styles. Their releases on labels including PolarRed (UK), Systimatica Records (USA), Klung Gymnastik (DE), and others have earned support from masters of the genre such as James Zabiela, Barry Ashworth, and Def Ink. They are also co-owners of two record labels: United Sound of xSSR (promoting producers from the former Soviet Union) and KDB Records (Berlin-based techno/tech house/minimal label). They performed at the 2007 Kazantip festival and released their first vinyl album Game of Survival in 2007. Their performances are live shows featuring sound processing, effects, samplers, and additional musical equipment rather than traditional DJ sets.
