Asche

Asche is the project of German artist Andreas Schrämm, a member of the legendary industrial group Ars Moriendi. Starting with dark ambient and power electronics, his sound evolved toward rhythm'n'noise, particularly through the 2000 album "Distorted Disco" and the influential remix vinyl "Distorted DJ." Schrämm's meticulous approach combines authentic industrial atmosphere with dancefloor functionality and expert sound design. He also operates the ritual ambient project Templegarden's and creates remixes for other artists. In live performance, standing nearly motionless at the mixer, he delivers remarkable sonic impact through droning bass frequencies and powerful beats.
