Ian Brown

Ian Brown is an icon of the Manchester wave and the frontman of the English band The Stone Roses. The Stone Roses released only 2 albums, but this was enough to gain cult status and enter all musical encyclopedias as one of the most influential bands of the 80s and 90s. In a recently published list by the British magazine New Musical Express of the greatest albums of all time, the self-titled album The Stone Roses topped the list, leaving behind such 'monsters' as The Beatles and Radiohead. After the band's breakup, Ian continued his career as a solo artist and released several magnificent albums, and this year, the same New Musical Express awarded him the prestigious Godlike Genius Award. To the Russian listener, Ian Brown is mainly known for his collaborations with the project Unkle (music videos Be There and Reign). Especially for the film, Ian Brown wrote the song 'On Track.'
