Moonbeam

Two brothers Pavel and Vitaly formed the project Moonbeam in 2003, with their close friend Oleg Kumagin as director, handling promotion and tour organization. Starting summer 2003, they collaborated with Californian Chris Lansford (poet and vocalist) on their debut "Raven Gipsy EP" (Feed Me Records, Portugal). Their 2005 releases gained support from top DJs including Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, and Max Graham, and featured guest vocalists from Sudan, Russia, and elsewhere. In September 2005, they released five tracks on Dirty Blue Records (owned by Alex Buchanan/Kingkade), supported by Laurent Garnier and Umek. They then released "Private" and "East's Eyes" on Distraektions Records (Piliavin & Zimbardo), which toured Russia in autumn 2005 with support from John Digweed and Eric Entrena. After their live debut in Zurich at Supermarket club, they began touring with Sudanese vocalist Amigo. By late 2005, they launched their own label, Moonbeam Digital, with sub-labels Disoma Records and Moon Tribal Records, receiving praise from Resident Advisor, and subsequently signed with labels including Traum, Regular, Mashtronic, Ready Mix, and Globalscum.
