SHUMY ROSSII is one of the most actively touring Russian experimental electronic dark music collectives. It has existed since 2001. The organizer of the annual international festival Noise vs. Glamour. They use the full range of modern musical stylistic palette from dark ambient and drone to death-industrial in their performances, but maintain an unwavering attachment to traditional noise. They create soundscapes complicated by visual and verbal images, synthesized each time in a new way during the creative process. Each performance is a new parable about the human condition. They characterize their style as apocalyptic experimental music. Critics refer to this style as mystical proto-avant-garde. They will prepare you for death and narrate your funeral.
