Influential German house producer Norman Feller (Norman Feller), aka Terry Lee Brown Jr. Norman has been behind the turntables since 1989, but he only came up with the 'house project Terry Lee Brown Jr.' in 1995. The aforementioned, then quite young label Plastic City was the home for releases at that time. In 1996, Feller released his debut album 'Brother For Real' on it, which was described by critics as 'a true milestone in tech house.' The British tabloid Muzik named Norman's work one of the best records of the year, placing it alongside works by DJ Shadow, Underworld, and Faithless. In the autumn of 1997, Terry Lee Brown Jr. released his second album 'Chocolate Chords,' which was also well-received by critics. For instance, the American magazine Mixmag included it in the top five electronic albums of the year. Like all electronic artists, Norman actively engages in DJing: releasing a series of compilations 'Terry's Cafe,' organizing eponymous parties, and creating remixes for Future Funk, Grace Jones, Joey Negro, and Paul Van Dyk.
