Pascal is one of the most extraordinary people in the club scene. Music journalists love to call such figures the progenitors or fathers of certain styles. Pascal is a true old school, a person who started from scratch. Whether he is behind the DJ console or producing other musicians, the results of his work leave an unforgettable effect on the listener.
Like other drum-and-bass artists, Pascal discovered the genre through his love for hip-hop. Changing styles and directions, from breaks to electro, first imitating the manner of Cash Money and Jazzy Jeff, then recording his own material, he searched for his sound while honing his DJ craft. Working as a sound engineer at the breakbeat label Suburban Base, Pascal met DJ Hype. It was then that the idea of creating their own label came to them. True Playaz and Ganga Records are DJ Hype, Pascal, and DJ Zync. Young musicians received support from the company Frontline, which specialized in genres like jump-up, joining drum-and-bass, and hip-hop. On this label, they released several albums under the name Ganja Kru. The track DJ Zync Super Sharp Shooter became world-famous, sweeping through the music industry like a wave. Many still consider it a key track in the history of drum-and-bass music. A remix of the Fugees song - Ready or Not also achieved similar success.
