Dance Planet company has existed on the music market since 2000. The history of the company as a music label began with the clearing of neighboring and copyright issues in 1999 for Russian majors. Today Dance Planet is an independent music publisher whose catalog contains about 60 releases. The label maintains partnerships with the largest sound recording companies in Russia and with well-known Western labels: Universal Music, Warner Music, Ministry of Sound, Kontor, ZZAP Recordings, MID-TOWN, DigiDance and many others. Dance Planet brought listeners in Russia and the CIS - DARUDE, KLUBBHEADS, ROYAL GIGOLOS, FERRY CORSTEN, as well as DJ #1 on the planet TIESTO. Thanks to close partnerships with Western labels and producers, productive work and high demand for released music products, the "Dance Planet" label has transformed into the first record company in Russia with developed infrastructure.
In early 2006, 2 sub-labels appeared as part of the record company - HARDD PLANET and HOUSE PLANET, each of which promotes a certain direction in contemporary music.
HARDD PLANET. The first label in Russia and the CIS to release licensed releases in Hard House and Hard Style directions. In cooperation with HARDD PLANET, founded in January 2006, producers and labels from Great Britain and the Netherlands are already interested. The label's first release was a joint project of DIGIDANCE and DANCE PLANET called Ruthless & Vorwerk pres. Square Beats.
HOUSE PLANET. A label that was the first in Russia to concentrate efforts on releasing House music in its most relevant manifestations. Today, this direction is the most popular and dynamically developing. At the same time, the Russian market is 90% filled with low-quality pirate compilations and mixes. HOUSE PLANET has already earned a reputation as a label offering exclusively licensed house-releases in high demand among listeners.
Developing in several directions, the Dance Planet record company performs the function of a head-label, continuously supplying the music market with famous releases from the LIVE_MIX series, "DANCE PLANET. The Best" and others. Also, in cooperation with Western labels, Dance Planet continues to present album releases of leading European artists as world premieres.
The company plans to open another label URBAN LOUNGE in the near future, which will mainly represent lounge music. Close partnerships with European record companies and productive cooperation experience will allow URBAN LOUNGE to gain the interest of connoisseurs of this direction in the near future. Currently, the Dance Planet catalog (including sub-label catalogs) contains about 60 releases.
