1 year of Techno Thursdays by Anton Kubikov

On October 2, 2003, in Moscow, the project of parties 'Techno Thursdays by Anton Kubikov' was launched. Over the course of a year, they have firmly established their place in the Moscow club scene. This place and this day have become a significant phenomenon in the lives of many electronic music fans. The event will feature the legendary duo Anton Kubikov and the charming Helga, as well as the specially invited Roman Flugel. Roman Flugel is also known under pseudonyms and musical projects such as Acid Jesus, Alter Ego, Sensorama (together with Jorn Elling Wuttke), Eight miles high, Soylent Green, Tracks on delivery, Roman IV, Ro 70. He co-produced the last two albums ('Contact', 'Fire'), released two albums together with David Holmes and two maxi-singles with David Moufang (more famous for his work on Electronica Label Source Records), and recorded a song with Robert Forster from the Australian Band The Go Betweens for the latest Sensorama project album. Roman released on labels Ladomat, Source, Cocoon, Harthouse, R S Records, and collaborated with Klang Elektronik-Playhouse-Ongaku label not only as a musician but also as an A&R manager. He made remixes for Blaze, Carsten Jost, and Steve O'Sullivan. Together with Jorn Wuttke, he did remixes for Primal Scream, The Human League, Chicks on speed, Baby Ford, Random Factor, G-man, Subculture, David Holmes, Sven Vath, Denki Groove, and others. Remixes were made for him by The Black Dog, Mouse On Mars, Plaid, Herbert (aka Wishmountain), The Two Lone Swordsmen, and others. Together with Jorn Elling Wuttke, they perform with the 'Alter Ego' project in clubs and at festivals throughout Europe (Sonar Festival/Spain, Tribal Gathering/UK, Vision Festival/CH, Cocoon Club/Ibiza, Time Warp/Germany...). As a DJ, Roman Flugel mainly plays deep and minimal, but also freaky Tech-House in all major clubs in Germany: WMF/Berlin, Panoramabar/Berlin, Ultraschall/Munchen, Robert Johnson/Frankfurt, U 60311/Frankfurt, Studio 672/Keln, Golden Pudel/Hamburg.
