The interactive clothing creation project and community of designers Maryjane.ru celebrates its first anniversary. The Maryjane.ru brand is an interactive social network that unites over 1500 reputable and fashionable designers from Russia, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, and Belarus. The main focus of the project is online creative clothing with exclusive prints. Platforms for creative collaboration and communication include two blogs dedicated to the project and the lifestyle of its participants: one in the LiveJournal community, and the other - its own, as well as the popular website www.maryjane.ru, where MJ art products can be purchased. The main event in honor of Maryjane.ru's Birthday Celebration will take place on April 25th, featuring an exhibition of the brightest works throughout the brand's history, awards for the winners of the Maryjane anniversary contest, sale of exclusive MJ products, a special contest from Wacom, a photo contest, Nintendo Wii gaming area, and a show featuring the freshest art works of the community. The entire event will be accompanied by continuous live performances by musicians and DJs from Russia and the UK - Mujuice, Flammable Beats, B-Voice, Meshkov, Dino Dallas, and others. To mark its fifth anniversary, the project team announces a contest for the best design of Maryjane.ru's five-year history, which will become the symbol of the anniversary. The winner, determined by open voting following the MJ Kingdom tradition, will receive two tickets to Amsterdam, gifts from project partners, and VIP invitations to the Maryjane Birthday Celebration party in Moscow on April 25th.
