Клубные российские · 30.01.2004
World experience of the turn of the century demonstrates a clear tendency in the evolution of contemporary art - it is a synthesis of its elements: music, theater, painting, cinema, design, fashion. In many European countries, music festivals are held annually, including similar synthetic installation projects. Over the past 10 years in Russia, all works installations brought to production usually did not go beyond the framework of local art festivals. On the night of January 31 to February 1, 2004, an international festival 'Abracadabra' will take place in Moscow - an interactive presentation of avant-garde electronic music and video projection art. The musical and ideological format of the festival is formulated as VIDM - the Very Intelligent Dance Music. Abracadabra is a magical formula. Let's assume it can control the recording of DNA information about protein engines and energy sources of atomic scales that can lift a person above the ground... Abracadabra is a self-reproducing system, which, by penetrating inside itself - thoughts - reveals its own structure from the inside and develops this structure. While keeping its meaning. In the context of the festival, we create an experimental model of 'Abracadabra' - 4D palindrome - through the compilation of sound, video, light, temperature and audience reactions in one place and in real time. The festival announcement invites the audience to 'play', stating the fact of the participation of each invited person in the intellectual game 'Abracadabra'... Synchronized performance of abracadabra by foreign and Russian electronic composers; thematic and authorial performances; exhibition of light-kinetic art 'Synesthesia'; exhibition of artistic photography 'Fractal'; venue design project 'PALINDROM'.
