Acid Mafia presents their first album at MSPRKT

A warm Saturday evening at Moskvoproekt is not just a concert by Acid Mafia, loosely tied to the release of their first album on Hyperboloid. On this evening of unexpected creative alliances, old friends Acid Mafia will come together for a joint musical performance. The program will start with Sasha Pas, whose musical talents are still unfairly known to a small audience of close friends: Pas is a designer, publisher, and art director of the creative union Le Cirque de Sharles La Tannes, known for the shows 'Crystal World' and 'Cops on Fire' at the Na Strastnom theater center. Then, Mitya Vikhornov will join Sasha. Video support will be provided by Yanuk Latushka, a video artist, director, founder of the Media Divers movement, and Yan Kalnberzin, the owner of his own creative agency 'Macho.' Following them, Pixel Lord will perform, another embodiment of the founder of the projects Gultskra Artikler and Stud, Alexey Devyanin. Alexey's albums were released worldwide on the Norwegian label Miasmah owned by Erik Skodvin of Deaf Center, with mastering done by the brilliant Andreas Tilliander. In contrast to the chaos of Gultskra Artikler, Stud's music constantly revolves around a simple and clear structure, it is the classic dreamy, soft IDM, and the new sound of Pixel Lord is closer to danceable hip-hop. The program will close with a DJ set by Dmitry Garin, the founder of the record label Hyperboloid, one of the organizers of the festival 'Abracadabra,' and together with Mitya Vikhornov, the core of the Acid Mafia project. Vikhornov is a virtuoso pianist and electronic musician, who has played in dozens of bands and side projects in various styles from rock and jazz to IDM and techno over the past fifteen years. Vikhornov's new project is Russian Visual Artists United, one of the largest video art companies in Russia.
