African festival Lake of Stars

Good news have finally come from Africa! We are not talking about charity or Red Cross missions. We are talking about the most exotic and beautiful Lake of Stars festival, which will once again take place on the shores of one of Africa's longest lakes - Lake Malawi. The festival was born back in 2004. It was then that the event creator Will Jamieson invited Andy Cato - a member of the famous house project Groove Armada - as a headliner. In 2009, Lake Of Stars promises to be bigger and better, as the organizers actively send out press releases to the media, highlighting in bold font the British bands The Maccabees, SWAY, Joe Goddard from Hot Chip, Radioclit, as well as Malawian artist - The Black Missionaries in the three-day line-up. Those willing to attend the event may be discouraged by the distance and the fact that it's not easy to fly to Lake Malawi on a single plane, but it's worth it. Even Felix B from Basement Jaxx stated that Lake Of Stars is "an unforgettable experience that will make you see the world differently". It is worth noting that African pop music is currently at its peak of popularity (just look at MGMT, Rainbow Arabia, and Vampire Weekend). Therefore, it can be assumed that Lake Of Stars festival will be in the top ten this year. Lake Of Stars will take place from October 15 to 18 in Africa.
