Akufen и Konrad Black в Moscow

On March 3, Akufen comes to Moscow. Under the nickname Akufen, Canadian musician Marc Leclerc appeared at the dawn of the 2000s, when everyone clicked their tongues at the phrase “microhouse”. After releases on the key German labels Perlon, Trapez and Background, he began to be called the “Canadian Brinkmann”, but he was able to fully express his musical essence on the debut album “My Way” for Force Inc. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most sought-after and talented DJs on the techno/house scene, bringing his incredibly eclectic sets to crowds of the most discerning connoisseurs around the world. Akufen’s experimental music with its elastic bass makes the dance floor jump, but the Canadian is appreciated not for his dancing and torque, but for the feeling of miracle - it’s not every day that such fireworks explode under the sky.
Akufen's productivity can be traced not only through numerous musical works, but also through a new joint project with Gabriel Coutu-Dumont, together the guys are engaged in the audiovisual component of the prestigious Ars Electronika and Mutek festivals. But there is another area that Mark especially values ​​– remixing; his repertoire includes monumental remixes for Richie Hawtin, Robert Hood, Massive Attack, Ark and Thomas Brinkmann.
The second musician coming to Moscow on March 3 is Konrad Black. Despite the fact that Konrad Black gained his fame through his work with the duo Swayzak on their Volt Musik label, his music found true demand on the psychedelic dance floors of Ibiza, when Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, and Loco Dice were among the first to load Konrad’s spectacular dance floor bombs into their clips. Half a year later, Konrad Black suddenly found himself behind the scenes at Ibiza's top clubs Amnesia, DC10 and Space, alongside the previously mentioned legendary figures who were more than happy to have him.
Wagon Repair is the brainchild of Konrad Black and Mathew Jonson, a label whose interest is now at its absolute peak - in between, the guys manage to take care of that too. The work on remixes is also amazing, it seems that the leaders of the minimal techno movement simply cannot do without the help of Conrad, he has several gorgeous reworkings of club anthems, including Mandy vs Booka Shade “Body Language”, Audion “Mouth to Mouth”, and the legendary remix of Booka Shade “Mandarine Girl”, written together with Troy Pierce and Heartthrob.
Konrad Black, firmly established in the crowd of the m_nus label, never ceases to amaze to this day, and no matter which of the latest creations we take as an example: “Ginkkgankgonk” for m_nus, or “Coma Couch Surfing” for the Minus sublabel Items & Things - it is guaranteed that this will be heard on the dance floors of the world's best clubs for a long time.
