Chimidoro's Album - Minna No Uta
Музыкальные зарубежные · 05.06.2008
"Minna No Uta" (The Song Everyone Sings) is the debut album of the young Japanese band Chimidoro. The core members of the group, Nao Suzuki (percussion), Kentaro Miyama, and Hiroaki Kusumoto (vocals), have been close friends for many years. As teenagers, inspired by the heroes of a popular Japanese TV show, they formed a group of cyclists called Chimidoro, which translates from Japanese as 'bloody'. Surprisingly, this group laid the foundation for the future musical collective, initiated by Nao Suzuki (who started seriously pursuing music before his friends). Nao has always been and remains a fan of minimal techno, while Miyama and Kusumoto prefer J-pop. However, this difference in preferences does not hinder their collaborative work; rather, it enriches it. Chimidoro's music organically combines techno, hip-hop, and pop, along with their overflowing energy, contributing to the group's success among their compatriots. From 2004 to 2007, Chimidoro juggled numerous performances in Tokyo and its suburbs with studio work on the album rightfully named 'The Song Everyone Sings'. This release leaves no room for pauses or indifference. It is entirely woven from uninhibited fun that transcends age and national boundaries.
