Bar 1171, the label 'Government of Sound,' and Maximum radio present the FM Cafe party and the presentation of the Deeplay Music mix by the famous Moscow DJ and radio host Alexander Nuzhdin. Fourteen years ago, radio host and DJ Alexander Nuzhdin worked as a translator and had no idea that his fate would be closely connected to music. In the early 90s, the then-unknown Alexander Nuzhdin managed to study at MEI and serve in the army. He spent his free time in the capital's clubs. That's where it all began. Offers to try out the roles of a DJ and radio host at 'Maximum' radio station almost simultaneously. Since the young man had a lot of free time, and extra earnings are always needed at 21, it would have been a sin not to take advantage of this opportunity. Moreover, Alexander always loved music, he grew up in a musical family, his mother was a cellist. Nuzhdin had no technical knowledge in DJing or radio work at that time, but learning the basics of DJing was not difficult. His debut took place in 1991 at the Palace club. The main problem at the time was a total lack of records. CD players had not been invented yet, and DJs in the small capital city played on vinyl. They would fight over materials. '2x2,' the first club where Alexander worked regularly, solved the shortage problem very simply. The club was owned by Irishmen who bought a large vinyl collection from an Irish DJ. At that time, Alexander, like all DJs, played whatever was necessary. Parties usually started with r’n’b and then heated up the set to techno. The era of r’n’b was replaced by the house era. More and more clubs specializing in certain musical directions began to appear, and it was time to decide. This became particularly clear at the old 'XIII' club when the demand - for different music in different halls - was dictated by objective necessity. From all the electronic genres, Alexander chose lounge music. Why this genre? Nuzhdin was always drawn to melodic jazz music, and during the same period, he had quite a few parties at the 'Garage' where the audience barely danced, and Alexander liked the idea of playing music for the seated crowd. As it turned out, creating an atmosphere in the hall was no less difficult than keeping the dance floor - one careless record and people would leave the room. He considers the main milestones in his DJ career to be 'Utopia,' 'Garage,' 'Jet Set,' and 'XIII.' Nowadays, quotes from 'Nuzhdiks' flood the internet portals, in 1997 'Hit Parade of Two Capitals' was recorded on tapes, the author's program 'FM Cafe' was recognized as the best radio program in Russia, and fans of 80s music do not miss a single episode of 'Approved by Electronics.' In addition, in 2005, Alexander became a member of the Moscow Lounge Festival jury and a resident of Z-Pro, and in 2006, he played his set at the legendary Cafe del Mar in Ibiza. At the end of 2006, the 'Government of Sound' label released another, the third, compilation by Alexander Nuzhdin. The disc, named Deeply Music, is designed as an aerial journey: anticipation of the flight, boarding the plane, takeoff, and gaining altitude over the city's shining lights, a long flight over the ocean, and an energetic companion - a guy from Brazil, a celebration in honor of arriving in the distant southern country with mandatory dances. The party-presentation of this mix will take place on December 15 at the new bar 1171 on Savvinskaya Embankment. December 15, Friday, starts at 22:00, bar 1171, Alexander Nuzhdin at FM Cafe party
