Amsterdam Animation Festival KLIK!

For the first time in Russia, from January 29 to February 1, the program of the most progressive and freedom-loving festival in Amsterdam - KLIK - will be shown in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod! Viewers will see the best films of the 2008 competition program, short masterpieces by Dutch and European independent authors. To present the program and talk about the latest animated achievements in Europe, the organizers of the festival themselves, Yvonne van Ulden and Dario van Vree, will fly to Russia.
KLIK! grew out of the Belgian multimedia festival KLIT, organized in 2004 by students of the animation course at the Royal Academy of Arts. Thanks to the return of one of the organizers of the Belgian forum to his native Amsterdam, the festival moved to the capital of the Netherlands.
Today KLIK! - an international event with shows not only in Amsterdam, but also in other European cities. The 2008 competition featured 230 cartoons from 25 countries.
