Anton Neumark sings like David Bowie

A cover version of one of the most famous songs of the modern rock idol David Bowie, 'Let’s Dance', performed by DJ Anton Neumark, will be released in September 2007 on the largest Canadian label BugEyed Records. Everyone who hears this track will surely notice the similarity of Anton's vocals to the original, which is even more surprising considering this is the second time Neumark has managed to release a hit by performing parts of well-known rockers. His first successful release was 'Need You Tonight' - a cover of INXS, released on Kinky Vinyl (UK) in 2006. 'Let’s Dance' echoes the success of 'Need You Tonight' with powerful electric basslines, intricate rhythm section parts, and the tiniest electronic fragments, blips, noises, and effects reminiscent of King Roc and Trentemoller. The record features the Original and Minimal Mix. Both versions of the track are danceable, although the Original is perhaps intended for a wider audience and is more suitable for radio broadcasts and commercial sets. The Minimal Mix has a darker sound, and its 'Doppelwhipper' groove will undoubtedly work in underground clubs and during early morning hours. This is not the first collaboration experience between the Russian DJ and BugEyed Records. Anton Neumark's track 'One Night In Moscow', released by this label in 2006, reached the 1st (!) place in the USA & Canada according to DJ polls and record sales - Balance Pool Chart, also receiving support from Carl Cox, Moussa Clark, Eddie Amador, Graeme Lloyd, David Gausa, The Beginrez, DJ T, Asle Bjorn, Gabi Newman, King Roc, Tom Neville. Another track, 'Bang & Coke', a classic electro-house banger, resided in the cases of many DJs worldwide for half a year, making its way into official charts of John Aquaviva, Sebastian Ingrosso, Joel Xavier, Tania Von Pear, and many other DJs. However, one of Anton Neumark's most notable releases on 'BugEyed' was the track 'Satisfaction Generation', co-written by Anton with the renowned English DJ and producer D. Ramirez. This work, officially released in April of this year, has been resonating on dance floors across Europe for several months, garnering excellent responses from DJs playing electro and minimal. Airtime on BBC Radio 1 and presence in the charts of many top-tier DJs have brought Anton Neumark the keen attention of the English press - particularly British magazines M8 and Mixmag, as well as the Spanish Deejay Mag. 'Let’s Dance' will be released on BugEyed Records in September 2007.
