Artforum - music workshop on Seliger

From July 1 to July 10, Artforum will be held on Lake Seliger - a domestic festival, useful, interesting and aimed at helping and developing talented youth. Within the framework of the Artforum, many events, lectures and seminars will be held in each direction of the Art Parade. One of the main directions is music. In this regard, a large music workshop will be held in Seliger, which will be attended by 300 young musicians from all over the country, the Youth Union of Composers, as well as representatives of the musical elite, recognized professionals who have something to tell the younger generation.
Over the course of 10 days, Artforum participants and guests will have the opportunity to take part in master classes from leading Russian and foreign musicians, record label owners and radio presenters, who will reveal the secrets of publishing and getting young Russian musicians into rotation. The educational program on Seliger - the main advantage of Arforum - will be even stronger this summer than last year. Artforum participants, having chosen a musical direction as their creative activity, will have the opportunity to hear the opinions of professionals in the first person, ask them questions and demonstrate their musical abilities to them. At the event you will be able to meet the director of the French label Faces Pablo Valentino, receive feedback on your work from the producer and owner of the Mean and Serialism labels - Cesare vs Disorder, take part in an art performance from Fulgeance, director of the Musique Large label, and also listen to lectures on the development of arists both in Russia and abroad.
Dasha Pushkina and Alexey Blagodatskikh will tell you how a DJ can find his own musical style; creators of Studio 25 (ST25) - how to create video installations correctly; Pixelord and Low Bob will reveal the secrets of artist development and promotion; Misha (Larik Surapov) will give a masterclass on “where to cut samples from”; participants in the successful musical “Cops on Fire” will talk about how they came up with and implemented their project; and for novice promoters, Bulat Sharipov (independent promoter, organizer of concerts in clubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg) will give a lecture on how to bring a foreign artist to Russia. And this is only part of the Artforum music program, which will last for all ten days!
In addition to new knowledge in the chosen music industry, each Artforum participant will have the opportunity to demonstrate their strengths in live performances on stage, as well as contribute to the creation of a musical compilation, which will appear as a result of the Artforum and, with the support of the Algorythmik label, will be published and distributed throughout the country.
The curators of the music direction at the Art Parade will be Andrey Algoritmik, a member of the creative association how2make, co-owner of the nervmusic label and creator of the algorythmik and toy piano labels, and Artem Polyansky, co-owner of the nervmusic label.
