Arovane's Atmosphere

Berlin musician Uwe Zahn, nicknamed Arovane, released his first record on the Din label - where the recording of the German dub minimalist Pole was first released. The biography of this German is remarkable. Before his first release under the name Arovane, he experimented with synthesizers in the early 80s and with vinyl in the late 80s. In 1989, he engaged in live electronic improvisation as part of a group of like-minded individuals called S.A.M. In the mid-90s, he produced breakbeat tracks for the independent Berlin radio station Kiss FM, and in life he works at a rehabilitation center. Arovane's work is melodic electronica reminiscent of early Autechre, music that combines unconventional drum machine sounds with warm, gentle synthetic textures that create a subtle, slightly nostalgic mood. The IDM style has now completely lost its former relevance. But Arovane, with his soft, slightly melancholic atmospheric music, is one of the few artists close to this style who have remained relevant, interesting, and timely even now. In addition to City Centre Offices, Arovane has released music on labels such as Fwd, Lux Nigra, Morr Music, Vertical Form, and has worked with artists such as Phonem, Christian Kleine, and Jake Mandell. Shanti, October 7, Saturday, guest gathering starts at 9:00 pm, featuring Arovane (City Centre Offices, Germany), admission is free.
