Audiobulb Records is a label-researcher created to promote creativity in all its forms and manifestations. In addition to musical releases available both on CD and in download format, Audiobulb engages in multimedia, virtual instruments, audio equipment, and other useful creative tools.
Audiobulb appeared in August 2003 when online net-labels began to replace physical record labels. According to the ideological inspirer and current head David Newman, the main motive for creating the label was a great desire to support, promote, and develop new music. The independent music industry was in a state of constant change. The digital revolution was gathering pace, and in many cases, independent labels were successfully thriving against the backdrop of cumbersome major labels. It is also important that net-labels offered the audience a serious alternative to paid music, providing tracks for free download.
There were a huge number of talented musicians who invested their souls into their music but had nowhere to release it. Realizing this, David Newman set about creating the label. Audiobulb does not tie itself to any musical genre; its musical policy is broad: it includes electro, acoustic, glitch, electronica, IDM, ambient, and microsound. Great attention is also paid to the covers of music releases, the design of which is worked on by the brilliant Curet→, who, by the way, also designed the label's website.
