Banco de Gaia at the Shanti Anniversary

Over the past year, 'Shanti' has become one of the most successful new venues in Moscow. 'Shanti' combines a Vietnamese restaurant, a Chinese tearoom, and a gallery with antiques from Tibet, making it a must-visit spot on the evening route. The consecration of Moscow's first and only Gallery of Tibetan Interior was personally conducted by the representative of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Russia, Geshe Tsering. The Gallery was presented by the country's leading Tibet expert, Professor Valery Pavlovich Androsov. A significant event was the consecration ceremony of the golden Buddha statue at 'Shanti's Gallery, carried out in October 2004 by Tibetan lamas from the oldest monastery in Gyudmed. In addition to its cultural and spiritual activities, 'Shanti' has also established itself as a center of nightlife. Friday parties 'Illusion Reality' and Saturday's 'Subelectronica' take place on a cozy dance floor, offering an intellectual-melodic electronic music format reminiscent of labels like Warp, Ninja Tune, Pork, City Center Offices, and Morr.
