Benny Benassi brings Satisfaction to Moscow

Zeppelin club resident and radio host Ivan Rudi continues his series of parties called Electrica Nights. On Friday, January 23, his guest will be the most successful musician, producer, and DJ of 2003 MR. BENNY BENASSI—the first exclusive DJ set of the maestro will be the climax of the night. Also that night, there will be a warm-up set from Jeff, an uncompromising set from Shushukin, and a junior set from Hyper.
Ivan Rudi will play a special tech house hard mix immediately after Mr. Satisfaction. As usual, DJ Fish will present his special morning mix in the chillout.

Benny Benassi

Benny Benassi was born on July 13, 1967. He is 35, but he claims he looks 25. He lives in a beautiful Italian village, Reggio Emilia, 100 kilometers south of Milan. In this lovely village, the food is delightful, and the dance music is even better.
He works as a producer in collaboration with his cousin Alle Benassi. After releasing the track KMC recorded with Italian singer Danni, which became a number one hit in the UK dance charts last year, the Benassi brothers began working on the project Benny Benassi presents THE BIZ. This pioneering-sounding project became a contemporary mix of minimalist electro, techno, and house.
Mr. Benassi is a serious fan of the 80s electro scene, drawing inspiration from artists like Kraftwerk and Giorgio Moroder. "When I first started my DJ career, I was a real fan of the 80s sound, and I am genuinely glad to see that this sound is becoming so popular again. Dance music seemed to be losing its enthusiasm, but today the dance floors are full of energy once more. Wherever I play 'Satisfaction,' the reaction is simply amazing. It’s particularly nice to see such open support and recognition from other DJs."
The first single was SATISFACTION, which topped the charts in all countries of Europe. In the UK, the single was released on Ministry of Sound / DATA. The track debuted at number two in the National Charts and was enthusiastically received by all leading DJs worldwide.
Benny Benassi has established himself as a serious remixer, earning excellent reviews for his remixes of Tomcraft's "Loneliness" and the latest single from Sonique. He also released remixes for Electric Six, Dance Commander, and Outkast. Benny Benassi's tracks dominate charts around the world—from Canada to Australia and Russia. The next single "NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO" is already ready for release. Currently, Benny is touring Europe—Britain, France, Germany, Ibiza. His DJ style is described in DJ Magazine as: "... it's kinda electro, sort of house-tec, dirty and cool, sweaty and smooth."
Benny was nominated for several prestigious music awards, including the NRJ International Revelation of the Year Award, which will take place during the Cannes MIDEM festival. Benassi will head to Cannes right after his performance in Moscow on January 23.
A few weeks ago, Benny recorded an exclusive DJ mix for Ministry of Sound. He did this as the winner of the Track of the Year poll. The voting was conducted on the Ministry's website, and Mr. Benassi received about 75,000 votes in his support.
