Bip Soup - Russian Techno Live in the City

Techno music is seen by many as a field for experimentation and exploration in sound design. There has already been IDM with the Warp label and "intelligent minimal techno," along with an entire army of sound engineers who proudly call themselves sound designers. Young artists interested in how sound is structured and how sound waves shape the listener's mood are currently in high regard.
Bip Soup consists of two young individuals passionate about sound design. In the studio, the guys program their own modular constructs (synthesizers, drum machines, etc.). According to them, they are much more attracted to fiddling with the settings of yet another synthesizer than to meticulously crafting another track. They don't actually have tracks in the traditional sense because the "Bip Soup" project was conceived as live. It resembles what Richie Hawtin does in his DJ sets, but here the main point is that only original material is played. In terms of sound, "Bip Soup" is similar to the music referred to as minimal - primarily very high-quality classic tech house and persistently "pumping" techno.
