Black magic queen - Shinedoe at Club Gorod

Shinedoe started performing as a dancer when she was fifteen years old. Inspired by her African heritage and influenced by the music of the early 80s, she performed in clubs and appeared in music videos with groups such as Quazar, Warp, and others. Her goal was to convey music through body movements, through dance. After dancing performances across Europe for 4 years, she decided to stop and focus on other things - such as buying music for her own collection and recording mixes for friends. Her music at that time was a mix of American garage, Detroit techno, and house. This inevitably led her to a DJ career, with her first performance as a DJ taking place at the 'Ja' club in Amsterdam. She began professionally mixing music at 19, and in 1995, she was first invited to the VIP club @ Paradiso in Amsterdam, where she literally blew up the dance floor and soon became a resident. She was also offered a residency at Stalker club in Haarlem. Since 1995, she has participated in all major festivals, performed at all clubs and parties in the Netherlands, from Dance Valley to Awakenings. Foreign promoters became interested in her DJ sets; as a result, she started receiving invites to play in Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden, China, Bosnia, Israel, Slovenia, Croatia - just naming a few of the countries she visited. In parallel, from around the middle of 1997 until 2000, she played drum-n-bass under the name Black Magic Queen. After some time, she decided to focus exclusively on tech-house and techno. Shinedoe mixes diverse music, which can be described as infectious funky-charged techno with some techno-house elements. She loves to experiment, adding and combining different musical trends. The audience adores her because she knows how to 'ignite' the party. In September 2004, together with the owner of 100% Pure Records - Dylan Hermelijn, she created her own label Intacto Records. From 2001 to 2004, she organized a series of her own parties called Inmotion at Paradiso and Amuse clubs in Amsterdam, where she also invited many foreign and local DJs to play. Later, in 2005, Inmotion parties moved to the Amsterdam club More, where she shared the concept and residency with Steve Rachmad. Her debut release 'Dillema/Alpha' on 100% Pure Records is played worldwide by people like Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Richie Hawtin, Steve Rachmad, Ricardo Villalobos, Vince Watson, Heiko Laux, Fabrice Lig, Michel de Hey, and others.
