Blu Mar Ten at 'Sol' Party

A new monthly series of parties by the veterans of the Russian drum and bass culture, the JungleRu project, called 'Sol,' focuses on the sharpness of the genre, which the Moscow scene so lacks. On September 28, for the first time in Russia, Sven presents Blu Mar Ten! The enigmatic British duo Blu Mar Ten consists of Leo Wyndham and Chris Marigold. Existing at the crossroads of drum and bass, house, and lounge genres has never caused them any trouble; on the contrary, it has become a stimulus for constant innovation. Once making noise with their remix of Erykah Badu's 'On & On' for Universal, Blu Mar Ten were key artists of Good Looking Records, leaving a dozen deep drum and bass hits in the nineties. And despite LTJ Bukem's sadness, who continues to release compilations with Blu Mar Ten's music without the duo's consent. The guys then decided to take the baton from FSOL and Global Communications - they released the album 'Six Million Names Of God' on Exceptional Records. Critics immediately crowned the release as one of the most beautiful downtempo albums of the new millennium. This was followed by new experiments, no less successful house and breaks records on TCR, Guidance, Plastic City, and Naked Music. Among the fans are Carl Cox, Felix da Housecat, and Lee Burridge. Their creative partners include Blame, Kyoto Jazz Massive, and Fink (Ninjatune). Just three years later, Blu Mar Ten could be seen back in the drum and bass ranks. A surprise awaited the fans - the duo turned into a trio, with a new, extremely energetic and surreal sound. As proof of this, the already legendary remix of Nasty Habits' 'Shadowboxing' for Doc Scott's label '31 Records'. And a series of fresh releases on Vibez, Shogun Audio, Tangent, Renegade, and Basement Records. All event attendees will be in for a pleasant surprise from Sven!
