Booka Shade sings

The flagships of Get Physical collective Booka Shade are the next authors of the famous DJ-Kicks DJ compilation series. The musicians are not the first ones that the !K7 team has put behind the decks, despite not being DJs. However, according to the label, this should not bother anyone. The main thing is that 'dancefloor feeling,' a mystical quality that must be present on the personal page of every aspiring DJ. Looking at the tracklist, you can’t help but give credit to the musicians (that is, DJs) Booka Shade. Perhaps their mix is the most eclectic of all that have been released in this series. Techno brethren Carl Craig and Matthew Dear are side by side with disco project Cerrone, rappers The Streets, and even Brigitte Bardot! Inspired by such a bubbling mix, DJs Booka Shade couldn't resist and started doing what they love - writing music. And not only that, they even sang! As a result, a completely new track with vocals appeared, which was written specifically for this DJ experience of the musicians. The mix will be released on October 22 on !K7.
