British Label Warp Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

One of the oldest labels, the British Warp, turns 20 this April. Originally, Warp operated as a music shop in Sheffield, but over time it has grown into a serious company associated with the emergence of such iconic figures in the history of electronic music like Aphex Twin, Autechre, and LFO.

Warp plans to celebrate its anniversary with flair. A whole series of events is dedicated to this, stretching throughout 2009. In honor of the anniversary, the label plans to release a special compilation of the best tracks and invites everyone to participate in selecting the compositions. To do this, you need to register on the Warp 20→ website and mark 50 favorite tracks. It's easy to guess that the best 20 compositions will make it to the tracklist of the anniversary compilation.
