Summer recreation center "Swan Lake"

May 16 and 17, 2007 - opening of a new summer project "Swan Lake" from the authors of the cafe "Like in the Canaries" and the club-restaurant "Solyanka"! The new location is located next to the Neskuchny Garden on the shore of the Golitsyn Pond, where those same swans live. This is not a restaurant in its purest form, but an establishment of a mixed genre, for which the wording “summer recreation center” is more suitable. Here you can experience all the joys of a resort without leaving the city. At the same time, “Lake” is easy to interpret as “your” place, where there is a characteristic setting. During daylight hours there is a family restaurant where you can ride a scooter or come with children. In the evening and at night - a club-type establishment, where people from parties will come to take a break from the hustle and bustle or just “change the picture.” There will be no false pathos here: “Swan Lake” is intended to become a place where it will be comfortable and cozy, where you will not want to leave. \nAll the furniture was brought from Thailand: tables and chairs made of solid teak wood, antique teak swings, Chinese umbrellas installed above the sun loungers. The “lake” consists of several verandas and terraces, a bar area and a swimming pool - in the heat you can drink cocktails right in the water. Massage tables will be placed on one of the closed verandas, where girls sent from Thailand will give massages to guests and perform simple SPA procedures. \nThe Swan Lake menu is based on the general ideas of a metropolis resident about resort cuisine. This is a fusion mix of European dishes, Thai elements (real tom yum, seafood) and Caucasian traditions (khachapuri and khinkali, for which the chef who came from North Ossetia is responsible; a professional from Georgia will handle the shish kebab). All dishes, even from the Caucasian section, in “Swan Lake” are presented in the so-called “Thai serving” - on banana leaves. There will be cold soups, a selection of grilled meats, signature salads, as well as an original cocktail menu with a lot of light fruit and berry mixes and non-alcoholic lemonades (from raspberries, black currants, rosehips and even elderberries). \nThe premiere of "Swan Lake" - the grand opening - is scheduled for May 16 and 17. On May 16, there will be a big performance based on the film “The Adventures of Pinocchio” by the art group “Rechniki”. On May 17, there will be a concert by Janelle Monae, a rising funk and soul singer from Atlanta, who is championed by Andre 3000 of the rap duo Outcast.
