История · 02.10.2006
The promotion group "Signs", the trademarks Red Devil and Sauza, the radio station DFM, the magazine "Ne spati!" and the project 44100Hz proudly present the rave The Time Machine - the fourth event of the tribute festival "Remember Everything", dedicated to celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the dance movement in Russia. The year 2006 is a jubilee year for Russian dance culture. Twenty years ago, in the winter of 1986, the "Disco Workshop" was formed, uniting disparate sound systems in Moscow. In parallel, in St. Petersburg, private parties were held in the famous squat on Fontanka, introducing Russia to the new sound of British acid house and German techno. This date was chosen as the starting point for the modern dance movement. The project "Remember Everything" aims to create a truthful history of this movement. In addition to publishing memoirs of participants in the events in the magazine "Ne spati!", creating a special website www.44100.com/history, and the author's program of DJ Fonar "Signs" on radio DFM, the project envisions a series of reunion parties in Moscow clubs and independent venues. Throughout 2006, as part of the project "Remember Everything", five conceptual parties are held, each focusing on a specific period of dance culture from 1986 to 2006. The first events of the series - the parties "Other" and "Baikonur" - successfully took place at "Gaudi" in January and April 2006, gathering 3,000 people on the dance floor of the capital's most capacious club. In June, a twelve-hour dance marathon The Beach resounded at the sailing club "Vodnik" near Moscow, commemorating the anniversary of the first "Russian landings" on Ibiza. The next party, The Time Machine, will take place on October 6 at the club "Ten". It will help to remember the glorious times of the late 90s, a period when the dance movement in Russia truly became mass. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, massive raves were regularly held, Russia saw the rise of the legendary radio station "Station", and the festival "Kazantip" started to gain momentum, eventually transforming into a true Russian Ibiza. Domestic DJs solidified their status as superstars, and their performances filled stadiums. It was an era of true flourishing of the Movement. The festival "Remember Everything" unites all the heroes of that time within one party; the original participants and organizers of the famous raves "Orbita" and "Instantsiya". At The Time Machine, the godfathers of Russian trance and breaks will perform, DJs with twenty years of experience like Volodya Fonar, Gruv, Spy.der, Gavrila, Zmey, Incognito, Den, Ed Kosmonavt, and Arkadiy Air. The new generation of Moscow trance DJs is represented by Dmitri "Bobina" Almazov, Dmitri Filatov (Sound Fiction), and the project Melodica. The club "Ten", the largest stationary venue in the city capable of accommodating up to three thousand people, is chosen for The Time Machine party. The club will have two dance floors with different styles - the main one with trance music and the experimental one with breaks. The Time Machine party marks the start of the regional tour "Sauza - Remember Everything", which will take place from October to December in eight cities in Russia. The tour resident is the number one DJ in Russia, the ideologist of the "Remember Everything" movement, and the host of the author's program "Signs" on DFM, Volodya Fonar.
