Chemicals Take Two Main Music Awards

The 48th Annual Grammy Awards, presented by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences in the USA, concluded in Los Angeles. Awards were given this time in 108 categories. In the "Dance Music" category, the duo Chemical Brothers received two awards, one of which was "Best Dance Single." In the same category, such masters of dance music as Deep Dish with the track "Say Hello", LCD Soundsystem with "Daft Punk Is Playing At My House", New Order with "Guilt Is A Useless Emotion", and Fatboy Slim & Lateef with "Wonderful Night" performed. Chemical Brothers was nominated with the single "Galvanize." The second statuette Chemical Brothers received was in the category "Best Electronic Dance Album" for their bright and original album "Push The Button." Here the battle unfolded against the same LCD Soundsystem and Fatboy Slim, as well as Daft Punk and Kraftwerk. In other categories, it is worth noting the award for "Best Remixed Track" - Curtis Mayfield with the composition "Superfly" (Little Louie Vega EOL Mix).
