Coldcut and New Mix Series

One of the main figures on the non-commercial electronic scene - the duo Coldcut, have announced the launch of a new series of their mixes, which will be released on the Harmless Records label. The first disc from this series will soon be available in stores. The music on these compilations will be very diverse - soul, jazz, reggae, drum and bass, simply abstract music. The music of this duo has always sparked genuine interest among those interested in completely new, cutting-edge music. Without Coldcut's help, 'sophisticated' artists like Lisa Stansfield, Yaz, Blondie, Eric B & Rakim, and many others, might not have seemed as they do. This duo has behind them such famous compilations as the mix '70 Minutes of Madness,' which was released in the renowned Journeys by DJs series in 1995, and was reissued at the beginning of this decade. This mix was recognized as the best by all magazines writing about dance music. It is also possible that a similar fate awaits this mix.
