Solo project of The Knife member

Karin Dreijer Andersson, a member of the Swedish electronic duo The Knife, is trying her hand at a solo project and is preparing to release the album 'Fever Ray' at the end of March next year on her own label, Rabid Records. Her colleagues from Sweden, Van Rivers and The Subliminal Kid, as well as Christoffer Berg, who took part in mixing tracks for The Knife's albums 'Deep Cuts' and 'Silent Shout', are involved in the collaboration. According to Berg, while working on 'Fever Ray', the musicians experimented with sound by recording the playback of tracks from speakers in different rooms, and also used many analog synthesizers and drum machines. As a result, some of the compositions acquired what is known as a 'dirty' sound. Before the album's release in early spring, Karin plans to conduct a promotional tour in its support. Exact dates and cities are yet to be determined.
