Craig Richards, aka Tyrant - English Sound on Tech Verticals

For visitors to the London club Fabric, the name Craig Richards holds special significance - he and Terry Francis once became the cornerstone of the staggering success of this establishment. At the same time, most club-goers around the world know this man under the pseudonym Tyrant, often associated with the name Lee Burridge. Receiving a classical academic education in childhood and working in positions ranging from a barber to a DJ, Craig never imagined that DJing would become his livelihood. After graduating from three consecutive art schools in England, he occasionally took on design projects but found that commercial design was far removed from his views on creativity. In 1993, he began organizing parties in various venues and then producing themed parties in existing English clubs. To date, Richards has been a resident at Fabric for four and a half years, playing there every Saturday throughout. What he has done and continues to do for the club goes much further than a weekly DJ set - together with Terry Francis, they develop the program, invite musicians they would like to play alongside, and in general, have a significant influence on how the parties go. Their skillful management and amazing sound in the club are the main reasons why Fabric remains so popular. In March of this year, a double CD was released for the first time in the club's famous series. Craig Richards, who started the Fabric series in November 2001, recorded Fabric 15 this time under the pseudonym Tyrant. And on June 24, the Moscow audience will have a chance to hear the famous Englishman live at the Internet pub "Phlegmatic Dog" within the framework of Anton Kubikov's Tech Verticals.
