On Saturday, the sister of the mega-famous singer Kylie Minogue, Dannii Minogue, will light up the dance floor at Dяgilev proжект! Danielle Jane Minogue was born on October 20, 1971 in Melbourne, the largest city in Australia. Given that many members of her family are talented individuals, it's not surprising that Dannii has innate talent. Her mother, Carol, was a former well-known ballerina, her sister is the super-popular pop diva Kylie Minogue. The male line of their family is also filled with talents - her father Ron and brother Brendan, a professional cinematographer, are well-known figures in Australia.
Dannii is the youngest of three children. And, as is often the case, she received more attention from her parents, who directed the development of the future star by enrolling her in dance and vocal school at a young age. In 1987, the young singer's first album, "Young Talent Time," was released. It mainly featured cover versions of famous hits, including a remake of Madonna's hit "Material Girl." Her first single, released by Mushroom Records, was titled "Love and Kisses." Its release marked the emergence of a new star in Australia - Dannii Minogue. Just consider: in the year the single was released (1989), Dannii was awarded the title of "Most Popular Girl on Australian Television," as well as the "Young Variety Award" for her role as Emma Jackson in the series "Home and Away." But that's not all - by the end of the year, her single "Love and Kisses" achieved "gold" status (selling 60 thousand copies). The next single, "Success," along with the album "Love and Kisses," topped many charts and hit parades. The album featured such well-known hits as "I Don't Wanna Take This Pain" and "Jump to the Beat." In 1992, another popular single, "Love's On Every Corner," was released. The release of her album "Get Into You" the next year allowed the Minogue sisters to become the most popular performers in the British charts.
In 1997, Dannii reminded everyone of her singing prowess by releasing the mega-hit "All I Wanna Do," followed by "Everything I Wanted" and "Disresembrance." The album "The Singles" was released in Australia in April 1999. Currently, Dannii is busy working on new projects, so it is quite possible that the current period of her career is just the "calm before the storm." Who knows, perhaps the Minogue sisters are preparing something together for the public?!
