Dave Seaman - The Masters Series

At 14 years old, he was the youngest editor at the English magazine Mixmag. Later, he started writing less and focused more on music - his mixes for Global Underground and Renaissance attained classic status among fans of progressive house. Dave Seaman's love and affinity with Renaissance began early; he first appeared on the Renaissance label in 1996, and since then his name has been a regular feature wherever the emblem of the famous British club was displayed.

At the height of his popularity, Seaman launched the Master Series of mixes, where only the most recognized, proven, and successful stars of the progressive house scene could participate.

After two years of silence, Dave Seaman returns to his roots and creates a mix for the Master Series, which is the tenth in the series and the ninth mix he has done for Renaissance. Over the years, the series has included works from Nick Warren, Danny Howell, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, Sandy Rivera, and Satoshi Tomiie.

Seaman created a mix that precisely reflects the modern concept of "progressive house." It is a blend of German calculation, American warmth, and a subtle funk presence, along with that English recklessness that can only thrive at their large festivals. There is no doubt that Seaman's finely honed musical taste, shaped over nearly twenty years, will deliver. After all, he is a Master!
