Debut Album of Marcel Dettmann on Ostgut Ton

In April, the debut album of German musician Marcel Dettmann, a resident of Berlin's Berghain/Panorama Bar, will be released on the Ostgut Ton label. Following the works of Marcel's label mates – Ben Klock, Shed, Prosumer & Murat Tepeli, and Luke Slater – Dettmann will be the fifth full album released by a member of Ostgut Ton. The author is in no hurry to reveal details about the upcoming release but hints that it turned out to be moderately danceable. "I love music where I feel depth. There is no specific formula for creating it. It can equally be a conceptual album or a combination of various styles," adds Dettmann. The release of the album will be preceded by a vinyl with remixes from Norman Nodge and Wincent Kunth on the tracks Shift, Unrest, Vertigo, and Wound Up - Dettmann Remixed.
The release date of Dettmann's album on Ostgut Ton is April 26, 2010.
