Gaudi Club Birthday

Moscow club Gaudi Arena is celebrating its sixth birthday. The special guests of the evening are German DJ and producer Timo Maas, British musicians Bodyrox, and singer Luciana.

The Gaudi club project emerged in 2001 during the peak of interest in mass dance events. The Gaudi promotion group became the first team in the capital to satisfy the public's need for a new form of entertainment by opening a club with the city's largest dance floor, capable of accommodating up to 3,000 people simultaneously. The project utilized a truly unique venue - the building of an abandoned elevator just a ten-minute drive from the city's historical center. Soon, a two-level club space with a total area of ​​2,500 square meters emerged practically 'from scratch' at this location. In record time, the club gained cult status. Here, giants of the modern electronic scene performed - from Paul van Dyk and Paul Oakenfold to Moby, who played a DJ set for the first time in Gaudi.

In the fall of 2006, Gaudi Arena moved to a more spacious venue, transforming into a unique transformer club with a capacity of up to 5,000 people. The revamped Gaudi became the venue for the Gatecrasher festival. Renowned DJs such as Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Christopher Lawrence, Marco V, and many others performed here.

Over six years of operation, the club gained international fame. A year ago, in the UK, the album 'Gatecrasher: Live in Moscow' was released, recorded during Christopher Lawrence's set at Gaudi Arena at the Gatecrasher festival. Gaudi became the first Russian club to officially open its branch in Europe - since spring 2008, Gaudi Bar has been operating in the center of Thessaloniki, Greece.

In May 2008, a new chapter in Gaudi's history began. The club returned to its roots, moving back to the building of the former elevator on Skladnaya Street. The design and atmosphere of the venue remained unchanged - Gaudi Club still has two spacious dance floors and a comfortable VIP balcony. The club's sound system underwent radical changes. So, Gaudi celebrates its sixth birthday in its updated form.

The sixth party 'Happy Birthday, Gaudi' is preparing many surprises for its guests. An alternative break dance floor will be active all night - performances by the Elastic Fish, Freespace, 1st Breaks, and F-World projects are announced on it. The summer veranda, which made a great impression at the May party with Paul van Dyk, will also reopen. Now dance enthusiasts will have their outdoor dance area in the center of Moscow.
